OLAPLEX
OLAPLEX is a deep conditioning treatment for damaged, coloured and bleached hair. Often used before Brazilian, Keratin and colour treatments if hair is compromised, breaking easily and not strong enough for smoothing treatments. It's a 3 step process for healthy, beautiful, shiny, touchable hair. This can be done once a week, up to 2x a week until hair is repaired. Olaplex prevents any further damage, making the hair stronger, healthier, shinier and helps mend some of the previous damage from colouring and heat damage.
VIRGIN HAIR =
OLAPLEX is great for virgin hair. It helps to repair existing damage while protecting it from thermal, mechanical and environmental damage. OLAPLEX strengthens and prepares the hair for future services.
COLOUR TREATED HAIR =
OLAPLEX is also used to maintain and repair Colour Treated hair for healthy, beautiful looking hair.
CURLY AND NATURALLY TEXTURED HAIR=
OLAPLEX rebuilds, restructures and improves moisture retention for curls that have lost their shape. OLAPLEX infuses curly hair with added moisture and condition for beautiful bouncy, resilient curls.
STRAIGHT HAIR =
OLAPLEX will strengthen straight hair, improving manageability, movement and shine. The condition of the hair won’t be compromised using thermal styling options such as curling irons, hot rollers, etc. when the hair is treated prior with OLAPLEX.
WHAT IS OLAPLEX
All hair contains millions of disulfide bonds which give the hair its structure, strength and stability. When all the bonds, especially the disulfide bonds, are intact and in alignment, you have healthy, beautiful, shiny, touchable hair. When disulfide bonds are broken, it results in damage.
Hair is damaged daily. Split ends, frizz, lacklustre colour, thinning and dryness can all be related to broken disulfide bonds from:
• Flat irons, curling irons, and blow dryers all cause damage due to the high levels of heat being used.
• Mechanical damage such as brushing, friction, tugging and pulling on wet hair affect the bonds.
• UV damage from the sun, humidity, extreme hot/cold weather conditioners, pollution, etc. all have a negative impact on the hair’s bonds.

The OLAPLEX 3-step treatment works on a molecular level. Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate, a single molecule, dramatically improves the hair strength, protects from within, and provides immediate results for all hair types. OLAPLEX:

HOW DOES THE TREATMENT WORK?
Olaplex is a 3-step treatment. You may have seen bottles of Olaplex in stores and online, but that’s just the third step of a three-part treatments that typically start in the salon or with your stylist. Each step contains the primary active ingredient, Bis-aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate, which repairs the aforementioned broken disulfide bonds in the hair.

No. 1 Bond Multiplier is a water solution of the bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate active and is applied by your stylist to repair damaged hair.
No. 2 Bond Perfector contain the bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate in a smaller amount, in combination with a variety of conditioning agents, and is also applied by a professional stylist.
No.3 Hair Perfector which contains the smallest amount of the active ingredient, along with an assortment of conditioning agents.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
The consultation:
Once you have booked, we will begin with a consultation which can last from 10-45 minutes and is free of charge. The consultation is mainly for me to determine whether you are suitable to have the treatment done or not and to assess your hair type. I will also walk you through the process, how long it takes, the products used and recommended aftercare. It’s also a chance me to answer all your questions ahead of the treatment. If you are happy to go ahead, I will require a 10% deposit, and will send you the consultation form we would’ve have talked through for you to sign.
What will I need?
Olaplex treatments require me to wash your hair, as this is a mobile service I will need access to your bathroom/shower head to allow to wash the treatments out of your hair. I will have my own sink/basin and will need you to provide a comfortable chair for you to sit on.

The Process:
Before I arrive, you will be required to wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo only, no conditioner or serums are to be used, and your hair should be aired dried. You can use any clarifying shampoo from the supermarket such as: Pantene Clarifying shampoo or Head and Shoulders – deep cleanse.

The treatment can take anywhere up to 45mins-1:30hrs depending on your hair length and texture.
I will start by applying the products to your hair, and leaving this to saturate in your hair for 30 minutes, before rinsing and blow drying your hair. Leaving you with healthier, stronger hair.
